Artistree

Artistree is HUGE.

It is a big black box that is 20,000 square feet in area and 3 floors in height.
There are 13 concrete pillars each 2 x 2 metre in width and covered by black curtains, too.
In the final floorplan, 6 of those pillars will be in our performing space and they act as stage edges.

Our team will be able to move around in the 8000 square feet area.
The rest of the Artistree space will be a photography exhibition.
As shown in the above picture, the pillars are dividing the space into smaller grid.
It is still open space though those vertical objects natually hints a stage change.

In those stages, we will present the 4 stages of egg, worm, cocoon and moth.
The long runway with a lane of light bulbs is where the moths take their movements and becoming eggs again.

We will use 25-30 minutes in presenting this life cycle.
